Sanjay Beach Sanjay excelled in sports during his time at Chandler High School. He was a state placer in track and field (sprints), regional champion in 100m and 200m and achieved All State honors in football. Sanjay went on to receive a football scholarship at Colorado State University and later played professional football for the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers. |

Kim Bickford While at Chandler High, Kim Bickford earned a number of athletic titles, including top softball pitcher in Arizona, her senior year the Chandler Wolves won 16 games with only one loss, and top badminton player, leading the Chandler Wolves to 1979 State Championship. While attending Mesa Community College and Arizona State University she earned All American Honors in softball. |
| Photo unavailable | Carl Dossey Carl Dossey was a World Champion bareback bronco rider. He was the co-founder of the first electric eye timed event chute and a professional rodeo judge for 12 years. Carl met an untimely death at the 1955 Chandler Rodeo when a team of horses became agitated and stampeded toward a crowd of onlookers. Carl was able to stop the runaway team, and saved many lives, but lost his own life in the event. |

Coach Gary Ernst Coach Ernst is one of the most respected basketball coaches in Arizona. He coached Junior Varsity for 3 years before becoming head varsity coach at Chandler High School in 1974. His teams won 101 games and lost only 64. He was named Coach of the Year by the Arizona Republic in 1976 and 1984. He is currently coaching at Mt. View High School in Mesa. |

Georgia Appleby Lane Georgia Appleby won the 1947 State Championships in singles tennis. She went on to Arizona State University and became a teacher. She was a teacher for 30 years, the last 28 years were in Tucson. |
| Photo unavailable | Coach Don Minor Don Minor coached every sport at Chandler Junior High School. As a coach at Chandler High School he coached cross country and was the assistant track coach. Minor coached every athlete at Chandler High School from 1960-1970 and coached 16 athletes to All Region or All State honors. |

Suzanne Price Propstra Suzanne was also one of the state’s top tennis players in the 1930s. She paced Chandler High School to the school’s first ever state championship in 1938. |
| Photo unavailable | Sisto Rosales Sisto was the heavyweight champion in wrestling in 1976 with a record of 24-2. He was a Regional placer in shot put and was listed all All Region, All State and All American by Prep Sports Magazine. Sisto went on to attend Mesa Community College on a wrestling scholarship where he was an All American. He later played football for Arizona State University. |

Coach Dick Rule Dick Rule was a high school and college athlete before becoming a football, baseball and track coach. He was the head coach at Chandler High School for 1 year and head track coach for 12 years. During that time he coached many athletes and teams to All Region and All State honors. He retired in 1980 after 32 years in the Chandler School District. Dick Rule was a member of 1949 Chandler High State Championship football team which was inducted into the Chandler Sports Hall of Fame in 2004. |
